‘Broadway All Stars Gala Concert’ 

In "Broadway All Stars Gala Concert," you will get to see some of your favorite musical theater stars perform 20 classic songs from 15 Broadway musicals. They will be accompanied by a professional musical theater orchestra comprised of over 10 talented musicians.

Design Shenzhen

The second edition of Design Shenzhen, themed “Fusion of Design and Technology,” delves into the multifaceted interactions between artificial intelligence (AI) and design. Attendees can expect discussions on the current state and future trends of AI integration in various design fields, including interior design, architecture, and commercial design.

GBA Flower Show

With a total exhibition area of over 38,000 square meters, this year’s Greater Bay Area Flower Show features six parts including different types of gardens designed by students, enterprises, and cities at its main venues in Bijia Mountain Sports Park and Lianhua Hill Park. Its subvenue in Xiangmihu Flower Wonderland will also set up four exhibition areas to meet citizens’ need to appreciate and to buy flowers.

Exhibition on young artists' theatric works

The "Inquiring Theater" exhibition at Guan Shanyue Art Museum invited 12 artist and artist groups from across the country to create exhibits in different forms. The artists’ works are categorized under four major themes: Self and the World, Tangible and Intangible, Set-off and Pause, and Finite and Infinite.

‘Treasures Along the Silk Road’ exhibition

The “Treasures Along the Silk Road — Metallurgical Art of Ancient Asian Civilizations” exhibition showcases 263 remarkable pieces and sets of artifacts from ancient Asian civilizations, sourced from the esteemed collection of the Hirayama Ikuo Silk Road Museum in Japan. 

Time: Through April 7

Cocoon-themed exhibition

Liang Shaoji’s large-scale exhibition “Sea of the Cloud” (Hai Ming Ming) will soon open at the Sea World Culture and Art Center. As one of the most important contemporary artists in China, he is a pioneer in using living insects to produce artworks. The exhibited works cover installations and portrays, six of which are specially created for this exhibition. 

Time: March 25 to June 26 (10 a.m.-7 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at weekends)

‘Next to Normal’

“Next to Normal,” a story about a mother fighting against bipolar disorder, is the first melodrama to win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It has also won three Tony awards, establishing its place as a phenomenal Broadway drama. Enjoy the Chinese version of this realistic melodrama and see whether the characters will overcome their pains to lead a “next to normal” life.

‘Little Red Riding Hood’ 

The play “Little Red Riding Hood” is designed for parents and children to experience a spiritual journey together, and for children to learn the wisdom of life. In addition to upgraded stage effects, choreography and props, the play has also incorporated puppet show elements for a fuller and more interesting plot.
