Futian holds fashion week activities

As part of the Shenzhen & Milan Lifestyle Week that kicked off at the China-Guanlan Original Printmaking Base in Longhua District on Tuesday, Futian staged a marvelous fashion show Wednesday to showcase fashion brands from both European and local designers.

Themed “Sino-Europe fashion and lifestyle fusion,” the grand fashion show was held at the Central Street of One Avenue, which is a large-scale commercial complex located in Gangxiabei, Futian.

One Avenue has a flagship commercial area covering 28,600 square meters and the 800-meter-long Central Street that runs through four malls, two independent buildings, and 16 public spaces and cultural centers.

Seven European brands ---- Mossi, Raxxy, Isabelle Anselot, Maison Mai, MYO, Maitrepierre, Steven Passaro –- and Shenzhen brand Vmajor presented works of their designers, fascinating the audience with both European and Chinese cultural elements.

The fashion week aims to showcase the latest fashion designs and serves as a prelude to the 2024 Shenzhen Fashion Week. The event also marks a new venture in cultural exchange and industrial cooperation between Shenzhen and Milan.

In addition to Longhua, Futian, Nanshan, and Longhua districts are hosting a variety of events, including fashion shows, exhibitions, and matchmaking sessions, throughout the week.

In Futian, fashion week events will run throughout March, with five commercial business circles hosting a total of six fashion shows and matchmaking sessions to promote the business environment in the district.

Futian already kicked off a series of activities March 16 to promote investment and industry exchange in the fashion industry, which the central Shenzhen business district has listed as one of its future growth drivers.

As part of the "Shenzhen Design Week 2024" and Shenzhen & Milan Lifestyle Week, a March 16 fashion show held in Futian featured six major international brands from the United States, Italy, and France, including Vera Wang, Pinko, Bebe, Marie Elie, and Playserious.

Six fashion brands from Futian made their debuts at the fashion week in Milan and Paris in February, drawing attention from their global counterparts and making a milestone in the international fashion exchange.
