Shenzhen Spring Outing Day events launched

Approximately 300 local residents embarked on a 4-kilometer hiking trail from Yunhai Square in Yantian District yesterday morning, signaling the beginning of the 2024 Shenzhen Spring Outing Day events. 

The 2024 Shenzhen Spring Outing Day features over 100 municipal- and district-level activities, including an outdoor short video contest and outdoor board games, aimed at providing residents with the opportunity to explore the city’s unique sea and mountain sceneries and the joy fitness brings.

In 2022, Shenzhen was recognized as one of the first Model Cities for National Sports and Fitness. This year marks the fourth edition of the Shenzhen Outing Day, a highly anticipated festival that allows Shenzhen residents to engage in sports activities and connect with nature.

This event is supported by the Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports Bureaus of Shenzhen Municipality and Yantian District, and organized by the Shenzhen Mountaineering and Outdoor Sports Association.
