Child-friendly park opens in Xixiang

Chentian Child-friendly Park, the first child-friendly park in Xixiang Subdistrict in Bao’an District, opened recently.

The park is updated from the former Chentian Park which had served the people of Chentian Community for over two decades. However, it struggled to keep pace with the evolving needs of surrounding residents.

Chentian Community started renovating the park since this January. The park rebuilt its floor, and added slides, swings, and other facilities tailored for fitness, leisure, and children.

After the renovation, the park can benefit nearly 40,000 community residents.

Situated in an urban village, the newly revamped park also addresses a critical gap in accessible fitness and entertainment options for the area.
