Warm days offer the perfect opportunity for residents to embrace an active lifestyle at sports parks in Shenzhen.

Boasting various facilities, these parks serve as ideal places for individuals seeking fitness and outdoor enjoyment. Whether one prefers jogging along intelligent tracks, partaking in light exercises, or engaging in intense sports games, these parks cater to a variety of activities.

Covering an area of 37,000 square meters, the Minzhi Sports Park, also called Mengqing Park, opened in early March. Exemplifying the innovative sponge city concept, the park features an array of amenities, including a standard 11v11 soccer field, three full-sized basketball courts, two half courts, a 600-meter walking track, and a spacious 2,400-square-meter fitness and children’s recreational zone.

In addition, visitors to the park are treated to a dazzling display of blooming flowers, which transform the park into a picturesque wonderland perfect for reveling in nature’s vibrant hues.

While entering the park is free, using the courts requires prior booking through the “WenhuaLonghua” official WeChat account.

Another recently opened park, Yuehai Sports Leisure Park (Phase 2) near Huangbeiling Metro Station in Luohu District covers 121,600 square meters and offers a diverse array of sports facilities.

From fields designed for five-a-side soccer, gateball, lawn bowling, lawn volleyball, and badminton to cycling paths and other amenities, the park caters to a wide range of athletic interests. Children can delight in slides and sand pits, while adults can use fitness facilities, ensuring an inclusive experience for visitors of all ages.
