Longhua-based Caring Hearts United (CHU) Fund and students from Bromsgrove School Mission Hills (BMH) organized a special children rehabilitation experience class at Kailehao Special Children Rehabilitation Institution in Longhua District on April 2 to mark the World Autism Awareness Day.

During the visit, the students learned about the daily routines of the special children and interacted with them in various activities.

CHU and BMH also donated teaching aids such as pianos, integrated teaching conference machines, and easels to the rehabilitation center. They expressed their commitment to organizing more welfare activities to involve students in caring for special children.

CHU has always been dedicated to public welfare, with a specific focus on the rehabilitation and growth of special children. Their actions have earned them the "Caring Hearts Award" from the Longhua Disabled Services Association.

After the event, during a tea party, Tsai shared her deep appreciation for the children's loveliness, resilience, and creativity. She also gained a comprehensive understanding of the rehabilitation institution and recognized the significance and complexity of special children's rehabilitation. Tsai emphasized the importance of increasing awareness and understanding of this group by advocating for more attention and support from society.

The Caring Hearts United (CHU) Fund was founded by Alicia Chu and her elder sisters in 2019 when Alicia was 15 years old. The fund aims to support the medical treatment and long-term recovery care for children with serious medical conditions. This dedication stems from Alicia's personal experience of the hardship her family faced when her grandfather passed away from cancer when she was 6 years old.
