Exhibition on Inca civilization

Exhibition on Redouté's floral works
Acknowledged as the most skilled floral painter in Western art history, Pierre-Joseph Redouté is esteemed as the "Raphael of Flowers." The exhibition presents his works from his early youth to his later years, highlighting masterpieces like "Bible of Roses," "Bible of Lilies," and "Bible of Flowers." They offer a comprehensive overview of Redouté's artistic legacy across his lifetime.

Cultural landmark exhibition
Visitors can explore the design concepts and architectural features of some of the city’s new cultural landmarks at the “A City of Percipience: Creativity and Construction of New Cultural Facilities” exhibition at the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning.

World music tour with Glintwine
Formed by two Yale University graduates, Shenzhen band Glintwine integrates international musical expressions taken from various cultures, thanks to the vocalist’s experiences in several countries in Silk and Road countries. In this concert, you will hear songs in nine languages that are from eight countries, and four original pieces by the band. Take a journey around the world through music!

Violin concert

Musical‘Don Juan’
The French musical “Don Juan,” directed by Gilles Maheu, will be staged in Shenzhen this weekend. French composer Felix Gray drew on Mozart’s opera “Don Giovanni” and Tirso de Molina’s “The Trickster of Seville and the Stone Guest” for his adaptation of the classic storyline. Unlike most artistic works about Don Juan, the musical is a more modern interpretation of the character, and presents his story from a more human perspective. Featuring plentiful flamenco dancing performances and songs of various genres, the production has been well received.

Parent-child musical ‘Baby Shark’
The parent-child musical "Baby Shark: The Hidden Treasure" is set to grace the stage at the Bay Opera of Shenzhen tomorrow. Amid the infectious melody of “Baby Shark... doo doo...” that continues its global popularity surge, the baby shark family will join forces with Pinkfong, a young fox, in a quest for an undersea treasure while delving into lessons on resource recovery. This educational expedition will help children understand the importance of marine ecological protection.

Dance ‘Shanghai Tango’
Led by the illustrious dancer and choreographer Jin Xing, the Shanghai Jin Xing Dance Theater will stage “Shanghai Tango,” a 10-piece collection that artfully blends Eastern and Western dance forms. Boasting a sensuous dance style marked by grace, subtlety, and visual allure, the production features acclaimed works such as “Half Dream,” which earned Jin the title of best choreographer at the American Dance Festival 1991, and “Black and Red,” honored with the 1998 China Culture Ministry Award for Modern Art.

Intl. brand underwear fair
The China (Shenzhen) International Brand Underwear Fair is taking place at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. More than 80 shows will be featured in partnership with over 1,500 brands, offering the audience a fashion visual spectacle. The three-day event will also include themed forums and activities.
