Direct flights between HK, Saipan to open this weekend

Travel agency CENTOURS and Hong Kong Airlines recently announced jointly that exclusive direct flights from Hong Kong to Saipan will commence Sunday.  Operating twice weekly between Hong Kong and Saipan international airports with Airbus A330 aircraft, this route positions the carrier as the sole local airline providing direct flights on this route.

The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands comprises 14 tropical islands, with Saipan serving as the capital and largest island. Saipan is celebrated for its year-round sunshine, crystal-clear waters, and a myriad of water sports opportunities, alongside numerous diving hotspots and natural limestone caves like the Blue Grotto. The pristine sandy beaches of Managaha Island on the west side are reminiscent of a paradise on the earth, earning it the moniker “Lover’s Island.” The poignant history of Banzai Cliff at the northern tip, coupled with the breathtaking vistas where the sky meets the sea, leaves visitors in awe.

Saipan introduced a visa-free policy for Chinese tourists as early as 2009, requiring only a passport for travel to the island. CENTOURS, a subsidiary of the Luen Thai Group, has introduced three tailored travel packages to cater to the diverse requirements of independent travelers, business travelers, and families.

The five-day, three-night itinerary will depart from Hong Kong at 19:35 every Thursday, reaching Saipan at 02:35 the following day. The return flight will depart from Saipan at 04:05 on the subsequent Monday, arriving in Hong Kong at 07:00 (all times are local). The six-day, four-night itinerary will depart from Hong Kong every Sunday, returning on the following Friday, maintaining the same flight schedule.
