‘Sing for Mama’ concert

French jazz singer Anne Evenou and her band will perform a jazz vocal concert at the Bay Opera of Shenzhen on the occasion of the 111th Mother's Day. Their performance, blending French chansons and Chinese melodies, is dedicated to spreading love and the joy of music.

A night of musical classics from prizewinners

The Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra's 2023-24 Concert Season will include a special production titled "The Gala of Prizewinners," featuring five enchanting pieces by Rossini, Richard Strauss, Vaughan Williams, and György Ligeti. Under the baton of Shen Yiwen, instrumentalists Li Tianyou, Xiong Weimo, and Hu Zhanshuo will showcase their talents on the bassoon, horn, and tuba respectively.

Gaudi exhibition

Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926), architect and ingenious creator, made his mark on Spain at the turn of the 20th century and continues to fascinate today. Now, Shenzheners can experience his genius at the “Exposicion Sonora Gaudi” exhibition. The ticketed exhibition showcases his sculptures, collections from the Gaudi House Museum, and imposing installations.

'Ochre and Sky' exhibition

This exhibition at the Guangming Culture and Art Center brings the stunning landscapes of Australia to local viewers via a digital film shown on a wide curved screen, as well as installations by an aboriginal artist and a Chinese-Australian artist.

Wine and spirit exhibition

The 2nd Wine to Asia, which gathers more than 500 wine and spirit brands from over 30 countries, is being held at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. Several masterclasses and tasting events will be held on site. Only visitors aged above 18 are allowed for entry.

Dance drama ‘Du Fu’

Du Fu, a celebrated poet of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), a prosperous era in Chinese history, is the focal point of this drama which intertwines a vibrant portrayal of the ups and downs in his life with his poetry, merging traditional Chinese aesthetics with contemporary influences.

Poster festival

The Hehu International Poster Festival is currently taking place at the Creativity and Innovation Center in Longcheng CC. Featuring a collection of 234 works, the exhibition showcases a variety of posters inspired by the traditional culture of Longgang and the Hakka legacy, as well as commercial posters for business services and activities.

Musical puppet show 

"Rambling with the Wind" is a musical puppet show adapted from the picture book of the same name, recounting the adventures of Mu Ke who, guided by the wind, wanders through mountains in a pristine forest. Through a lively narrative and accompaniment by a live band, children will discover the wonders of nature.
