Shenzhen has firmly solidified its standing as a national pioneer by setting local standards for the rating of supercharging equipment and station design. Each supercharging gun is required to provide a minimum power rating of 480kW. While a conventional standard charging port typically takes about seven to eight hours to fully charge a family car, the time can be reduced to one to two hours at a fast charging port. However, at a supercharging station, a vehicle can be fully charged in a mere 10 minutes or less.
As of April 30, Shenzhen boasts 362 supercharging stations, surpassing the number of traditional petrol stations. The distribution of supercharging stations across districts is as follows:
Longhua District
45 stations
Pingshan District
20 stations
Bao'an District
58 stations
Luohu District
35 stations
Guangming District
148 stations
Dapeng New Area
14 stations
Futian District
43 stations
Nanshan District
44 stations
Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone

By the end of 2024, the city aims to establish 1,000 supercharging stations. This initiative will involve constructing an infrastructure and service network incorporating cutting-edge technology and expansive coverage, create a robust network capable of facilitating efficient electricity charging, storage, and distribution. This strategic vision aims to elevate Shenzhen to a prominent position within the industry ecosystem, spanning enterprises, technology, and practical applications, epitomizing the core values of the "Shenzhen Supercharging" brand.
