11 teams participate in 2024 Shenzhen enterprises rowing friendly match

The 2024 Shenzhen Enterprises Rowing Friendly Match kicked off at the Dasha River Ecological Corridor in Nanshan District on May 18.

The match was hosted by the People’s Government of Nanshan District, organized by the Nanshan District Cultural, Media, Tourism and Sports Bureau, and held by China Resources Culture and Sports Development Co. Ltd.

Now in its second edition, the Shenzhen Enterprises Rowing Friendly Match attracted 11 teams from 10 well-known enterprises, including CR Land, CNOOC Shenzhen Branch, Shenzhen Water and Environment Group, Jinjiang International, Tencent, ZTE, Kingdee, Nubia, Hive Box, and Transsion.

After fierce competition, Shenzhen Water and Environment Group won the championship in the eight-men single oar event, with CR Land and J Team coming second and third, respectively.

This year’s friendly match has added special awards. Tencent, ZTE, Nubia, and Hive Box won the ethics award, while Jinjiang International, Kingdee, and CNOOC Shenzhen Branch won the excellent organization award.

Xiong Jingfen from Shenzhen Water and Environment Group, Lu Yuwen from CR Land, and Zhou Run from Jinjiang International won the title of excellent rower.

“We cherish the opportunity to participate very much and have done our best,” said a representative from Shenzhen Water and Environment Group, adding that this year’s match has significantly improved in terms of the number of participating teams, the level of players, and the scale of the competition compared to the previous edition.
