The Nanshan District Committee of the CPC Comprehensively Deepening Reform Committee held its 16th meeting May 16, during which the district’s project plan for comprehensively deepening reforms in 2024 was approved.

This year, Nanshan will advance the implementation of 64 reform tasks across five major areas, including 23 key reform tasks and 41 reform tasks in departments and subdistricts.

The district will prioritize the implementation of two strategic reforms, namely, the Xili high-speed railway hub TOD4.0 project and mechanism reform for promoting the commercialization of scientific research achievements in X-Lake Sciensity.

The Xili high-speed railway hub is a key project representing Shenzhen’s pioneering efforts in transportation hub reform and a benchmark project for practicing high-quality infrastructure development.

As planned, construction on the Xili transport hub will begin this year.

Nanshan will accelerate the construction of the X-Lake Sciensity Integrated Innovation Center and build the X-Lake Sciensity Concept Verification Platform with high standards.

As for comprehensively deepening economic reforms, Nanshan will carry out nine reform tasks with the goal of building a modern industrial system in aspects such as low-altitude economy, superchargers for new energy vehicles, autonomous driving technology, AI+Robotics, marine technology industry, and digital economy.

Nanshan will conduct three reform tasks in the fields of education, health care, and public art, as well as five reform tasks in urban governance and ecological environment. Another four reform tasks will be carried out for Party building and governance modernization.
