Madame Figaro Café, an extension of the acclaimed French fashion magazine, announced that it is planning to open its first-ever store in Futian District by mid-June during the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair.

Located in Chegongmiao, the café promises a stylish and sophisticated atmosphere that blends the worlds of fashion, lifestyle, and cuisine. “We aim to create an immersive experience that reflects the elegance and contemporary spirit of the Madame Figaro brand,” Yuen Lo, brand operations manager, shared with Shenzhen Daily at the café’s pop-up store in Hall 9 of the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center on Friday.

The Futian café will have an area of nearly 250 square meters and cater to different tastes throughout the day. Coffee lovers will be able to enjoy meticulously brewed pour-overs in the morning while afternoon and evening guests will be able to indulge in a selection of wines, cocktails, and classic French pastries, Lo said.

Significantly, Shenzhen is the launchpad for Madame Figaro Café’s global expansion. Lo revealed plans for a focused rollout, with less than 10 stores planned across a maximum of five cities on the Chinese mainland.

“Futian wasn’t chosen by chance,” said Deng Hao, project manager for Madame Figaro Café in China, during a sharing event at the Futian booth Friday. “Shenzhen’s vibrancy, innovation, and international character perfectly align with the brand spirit we want to convey.”
