The Bao’an District pavilion received a record-breaking 200,000 visits during the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) which concluded May 27.
One of the pavilion's highlights was an immersive experience zone dedicated to the Shenzhen-Huafa Snow World, an indoor ski resort currently under construction, attracting considerable interest from visitors.
Upon completion in 2025, the 100,000-square-meter facility, which is equivalent to the size of 11 soccer fields, will become the world’s largest ice and snow center at the lowest altitude.
On May 23, the opening day of the 20th ICIF, Bao’an District hosted a promotional conference where a total of 11 cultural, sports, and tourism projects were signed, with an intended investment exceeding 1.1 billion yuan (US$151.8 million). Additionally, several projects were signed at Bao’an’s subvenues.
