Xichong selected as top destination for stargazing

The Xichong International Dark Sky Community, located in Dapeng New District, has been named one of the most recommended destinations for stargazing in China for the year 2023, as recently announced.

This marks the fourth consecutive year that destinations for stargazing have been selected by the China Tourism News and China StarVision Alliance. The selection began in October 2023, with the process involving data collection, verification, investigations, on-site visits, consultations, and expert reviews. Among the 10 selected destinations for 2023 across China are Yunding Mountain in Shanxi Province, Chengzi Lake in Jiangsu Province, Wugong Mountain in Jiangxi Province, and Lenghu Lake in Qinghai Province and others.
