Qianxi'nan autonomous prefecture promotes tourism

The Qianxi’nan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province showcased its unique cultural charm and diverse tourism resources at a promotional conference held in Futian District yesterday afternoon.

The aim is to attract more tourists from Shenzhen this summer and strengthen cooperation with local travel agents, according to the conference.

During the event, three selected summer tourism routes that explore the Karst landforms in Qianxi’nan were unveiled, arousing intense interest from participating travel merchants. Additionally, performances by actors from the Buyi and Miao ethnic groups vividly depicted the ethnic customs in the Qianxi’nan region.

A special exhibition area featuring cultural and creative products, as well as intangible cultural heritage products, was set up to exhibit distinctive tourism offerings, local delicacies, and intangible cultural creations from Qianxi’nan. This captured the attention of participants, allowing them to experience the new charm and style of cultural tourism in the region.

The Qianxi’nan prefecture is diligently developing into a health and wellness tourism destination, aiming to reinforce its status as China’s Year-round Health and Wellness Capital, a title granted by the Chinese Meteorological Society in August 2019.
