Innovation Conference 2024 held in Futian

The Innovation Conference 2024 was held in Futian District from Friday to Sunday, with some 600 scholars and researchers across diverse fields sharing their insights on creating a versatile exchange platform tailored to address the demands of both R&D professionals and the commercialization of scientific and technological breakthroughs.
The conference, hosted by The Innovation magazine, and supported by Shenzhen Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Commission, Shenzhen Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Co. Ltd, and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, was held in the Shenzhen park of the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone, with a primary focus on advancing multidisciplinary theory and application innovation through collecting, discussing and solving problems, and the subsequent dissemination and commercialization of scientific and technological achievements.
The conference attracted researchers in a variety of fields, such as interdisciplinary science, smart energy, advanced medicine and health management, xenotransplantation and intelligent agriculture, among others, to engage in round-table discussions.
Published by Cell Press, The Innovation is a trans-disciplinary journal publishing basic and applied research. It has been designated to disseminate both basic and applied research, with a focus on cutting-edge studies and high-quality reviews in a number of sectors including physicals and chemistry, materials and nanotechnology, life science and translational medicine, as well as geoscience and engineering. The Innovation Conference serves as a platform for addressing crucial and emerging trends in research.
During the conference, the “First Lecture on Science”of the Alliance of Young Scientists for Social Responsibility was officially launched. The sideline event aims to to carry out various scientific and technological activities on science popularization in primary and secondary schools across Shenzhen.
