Lower thresholds for foreign visitors to apply for port visas

For foreigners who urgently need to come to China for non-diplomatic and non-official activities such as business cooperation, visits and exchanges, investment and entrepreneurship, visiting relatives, and handling private affairs, and who do not have time to apply for a visa abroad, they can submit an invitation letter and other relevant supporting materials to the port visa authority to apply for a port visa for entry. Shenzhen has launched the port visa service at five ports.
