★购票 Ticketing

1.使用证件。外国旅客购票时，可以使用的有效身份证件包括：外国人永久居留身份证、外国人护照、外国人出入境证、海员证、中国公安机关出入境管理部门出具的外国人签证证件受理回执、护照报失证明、各国驻华使领馆签发的临时性国际旅行证件（附具中国公安机关出入境管理部门签发的有效签证或者停留证件）。通过12306网站、12306 APP、订票电话购票时，可以使用外国人永久居留身份证和外国人护照。通过自动售票机购票时，可以使用外国人永久居留身份证。

Valid identity documents. When obtaining tickets, acceptable identity documents include the Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card, foreign passport, entry-exit permit for foreigners, seafarer's passport, foreign visa document acceptance receipt issued by the entry-exit management department of the Chinese public security organ, proof of reported loss of passport, or temporary international travel documents issued by embassies and consulates of various countries in China (accompanied by a valid visa or stay permit issued by the entry-exit management department of the Chinese public security organ).When purchasing tickets through the 12306 website,12306 app, or booking hotline, you may present your Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card or foreign passport. For purchases made at automatic ticket vending machines, the Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card is accepted.

2.身份核验。为确保旅客运输安全有序，铁路运营公司按照有关规定实行实名制售票，外国旅客购票前需完成身份核验。一是登录12306英文版网站或12306APP，按照系统提示填写姓名、国籍、证件号码等信息，由系统自动完成身份核验。也可选择在线提交护照信息页照片，由后台进行人工核验。二是携带本人有效护照到铁路车站售票窗口办理身份核验。

Railway operating companies require foreign passengers to undergo identity verification before buying tickets. This can be done by logging into the 12306 English version website or app, providing your name, nationality, ID number, and other necessary information as prompted by the system for automatic verification. Alternatively, you can choose to submit a photo of your passport's information page online for manual verification by the system administrators. Another option is to visit the railway station ticket counter in person with your valid passport for identity confirmation.

3.购票。完成身份核验后，外国旅客即可购买车票一是通过12306英文版网站或12306 APP在线购票要使用支付宝、微信、银联银行卡支付票款。二是在铁路车站售票窗口购票，可使用现金、支付宝、微信、银联银行卡支付票款。部分铁路车站还可使用自助售票机购票。

Ticketing. Upon completing identity verification , international passengers have the option to purchase tickets online through the 12306 English version website or the 12306 app. Payments can be made using Alipay, WeChat, or UnionPay bank cards. Alternatively, tickets can be bought at railway station ticket windows, where payment is accepted in cash, Alipay, WeChat, and UnionPay bank cards. In select railway stations, passengers can also acquire tickets from self-service machines.

★进出站与乘车 Entry, exit & riding

持购票时所使用的有效身份证件原件，通过自动闸机或有工作人员辅助的通道进站、出站，配合完成乘车途中的车票核验。

Passengers are required to carry the original valid ID used for ticket purchase, enter and exit through automated gates or manual inspection channels at the station, and cooperate during ticket verification throughout the journey.
