Dai Yun's exhibition extended

“Dai Yun’s Practice and Cognition,” a contemporary art exhibition featuring Chinese artist Dai Yun’s sculptures, has extended its run through Sept. 1.

Dai is celebrated for his remarkable contributions to contemporary sculpture in China. Utilizing red bricks, gray stones, cement and concrete iron as his signature materials, he has formed a unique visual language showcasing the intrinsic beauty of the materials.

The exhibition provides a glimpse into Dai’s journey of creation, showcasing his adept use of red bricks, terrazzo and white iron sheets to convey his contemplations on the intricate relationship between urban life and natural ecology, tradition and modernity.

His works also delve into how the interplay of materials and forms influences the perception of viewers, offering a deeper engagement with his artistry.
