Beer festival crafts fun summer weekend

The Coco Park shopping mall in Futian CBD was bustling with crowds over the weekend, who were engaged in a diverse range of activities at the Second Shenzhen Te Ang Beer Festival.

Organized by the leading local brewery TAGSIU and backed by the Shenzhen Municipal Commerce Bureau, Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sport, and Futian District Commerce Bureau, the Te Ang Beer Festival is a part of the city’s 2024 Golden Consumption Season. The festival aimed to boost the night economy and enhance the night life experience for the public.

Featuring approximately 100 brands of craft beers, cocktails, fine coffee, culinary delights, gaming activities and an array of immersive experiences in sports, cultural creativity, art, music and performances, the Coco Park was transformed into a rejuvenating escape amidst urban hustle and bustle, appealing to people of all ages.

Among all the activities, the vibrant live music performances, thrilling Muay Thai demonstration sessions and captivating theatrical shows gathered the most crowds, reveling in an entertaining and unforgettable summer weekend.

The festival was also among the activities of the Futian District Consumption Promotion Season, which will continue through October.

A series of activities focusing on sports, night economy, food and beverages, automobiles, and household electronics are tailored to cater to people of different demographic groups, including families with young children, visitors from other GBA cities, and international tourists.
