According to the design evaluation, the energy efficiency of the basketball hall has reached 51%, its utilization rate of renewable energy is 58%, and the comprehensive energy saving rate is as high as 91.72%. These figures demonstrate that the energy-saving and carbon reduction effects of this hall surpass those of similar buildings in the country.

Both the basketball hall and the adjacent multi-functional hall are equipped with photovoltaic panels on their roofs, generating estimated 460,000 kWh annually, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 199 tons per year.

The basketball hall facade integrates curtain walls with sun-shading systems to optimize energy use. The strategic layout of windows on the walls ensures a balance between lighting and energy consumption. The glass used in the facade has excellent thermal performance, allowing sufficient light transmission while reducing solar radiation and air conditioning energy consumption.

Natural lighting is further enhanced by rectangular windows on the rooftop, reducing the need for electric lighting indoors during the day. Electric sun-shading roller blinds are installed in the hall, enabling efficient use of natural light while effectively controlling solar radiation.

Located at the intersection of Danzi Boulevard and Pingshan Boulevard, the Pingshan Sports Settlement is scheduled for completion in 2025. Covering an area of 78,297 square meters and with a floor area of 129,724 square meters, the project will host various sports activities, including tennis, badminton, basketball, swimming and more.
