AI expo
The 5th Shenzhen Global Artificial Intelligence Expo will bring together leading AI companies from home and abroad, including Baidu, Huawei, China Unicom, Mindray Medical, and Tesla. Sci-fi show
Shenzhen’s new sci-fi show “Avatar” will be staged in the city today and tomorrow. Set in a near-future world where every human has a virtual avatar, the story explores the conflict between their real bodies and their digital counterparts.

Chinese and Western classic tunes
Soprano Guo Sen will collaborate with morin khuur musician Hasibagen and pianist Wang Lei to present an evening of blended melodies from Chinese and Western classics. Attendees will enjoy masterpieces by Mahler and Schumann, a Schubert piece performed on the morin khuur, and folk songs from Inner Mongolia, Uygur, and Kazakh traditions, and more.

SZSO season opener
Under the baton of Lin Daye, director of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra (SZSO), the opening concert of SZSO’s 2024-2025 music season will showcase the highly-anticipated world premiere of “Colors” by German composer and conductor, Wolf Kerschek. The piece will feature the renowned German Brass ensemble.
