Nanshan holds job fairs for college graduates

Nanshan District kicked off a series of job fairs for college graduates and hosted a comprehensive recruitment session at the Yuehai Campus of Shenzhen University on Sept. 8.

The Nanshan District Human Resources Bureau has planned a series of four job fairs at four universities within the district from September to October, aimed at attracting top talent for leading industries and high-quality enterprises, while also seeking outstanding positions for highly skilled professionals and high-end talent.

The comprehensive recruitment session at Shenzhen University drew the participation of 120 Nanshan-based enterprises, spanning industries such as fintech, integrated circuits, and artificial intelligence.

The list of participants included 14 listed companies like Tencent Music Entertainment Group, ORBBEC, and Megmeet, 16 research institutes and State-owned enterprises such as the Shenzhen Academy of Robotics, China Railway No.2 Engineering Group, and ESI, 39 specialized and innovative firms and 32 other high-tech enterprises. Together, they offered a total of 602 positions, encompassing 2,374 roles in technology, finance, and marketing, with the highest salary package reaching 45,000 yuan per month.

In addition to Shenzhen University students, the event attracted graduates from institutions such as Southern University of Science and Technology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shenzhen MSU-BIT University, and Shenzhen Technology University, totaling approximately 4,500 applicants. Employers received a collective 6,048 resumes, with 1,867 individuals reaching a preliminary employment intention.

The remaining three job fairs are scheduled as follows: Sept. 20 (Friday) at the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, targeting master’s and doctoral talents; Oct. 16 (Wednesday) at Shenzhen Polytechnic University, focused on the modern service industry; and Oct. 22 (Tuesday) at Southern University of Science and Technology, specifically for technical research and development talent.
