Music for Mid-Autumn Festival
The Shanghai Chinese Orchestra will present a concert featuring several adapted Chinese folk pieces, performed with a variety of traditional instruments, including the flute, erhu, sheng, ruan, huqin, and suona.

Pipa charm
Pipa player Jiang Motong will collaborate with pianist Yu Boyang and percussionist Chen Shijie to present a night of Chinese and Western pieces. Rearranged classical works such as Saint-Saëns’ elegant “The Swan” and two movements from Piazzolla’s “History of Tango” are on the list.

Russian pianit Eva Gevorgyan, an award-winner of the 18th International Chopin Piano Competition, will present an evening of classic masterpieces by Beethoven, Brahms, Ravel, and Chopin at the Bay Opera in Shenzhen this Sunday.

Musical for children

Feng Zikai’s paintings
Over 100 light-hearted paintings by the influential Chinese painter Feng Zikai (1898-1975) showcasing his aesthetic education thoughts are now on display.
