This alliance is a charity service platform that aims to assist Longhua-based companies in expanding globally and increasing their influence in the global industrial and supply chain sectors.
During the conference, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed between the Longhua District People’s Government and Chubb Limited, one of the largest insurance companies in the world.
Evan Greenberg, chairman of Chubb Limited, delivers a speech at the ceremony.
While addressing the conference, Evan Greenberg, chairman of Chubb, emphasized the importance of Chubb’s partnership with the Longhua District Government in reinforcing the company’s presence and capabilities. “We look forward to enhancing our cooperation in the field of risk management, not only in Shenzhen but also across the nation. We are confident that our experience in global risk solutions can provide invaluable support to Chinese companies, particularly as they expand into international markets. We’re excited and pleased about the future and are committed to helping Chinese enterprises thrive in China and globally,” said Greenberg.
He highlighted Shenzhen’s status as an advanced and vibrant Chinese city with top-tier talent, infrastructure, policy support, and digital innovation — qualities that make it an ideal location for business activities.
Experts exchange views in a roundtable session during the conference.
To facilitate the global expansion of companies, Longhua unveiled a service list during the conference, detailing available government, supply chain, financial, and compliance management services for enterprises seeking overseas opportunities.
Sixteen professionals were appointed as Longhua District’s outbound business consultants at the conference.
Furthermore, 16 professionals who specialize in fields such as law and intellectual property rights were appointed as Longhua District’s outbound business consultants.
Mauro Rubin, CEO of biotech consultancy company Almatech Group, emphasized Longhua’s innovative approach to global business, adding that he is looking forward to the district’s continued efforts in creating such opportunities.
Invited guests also participated in a roundtable session sharing insights and experiences on companies expanding abroad. More than 100 representatives from international service organizations, overseas enterprises, industry associations and institutions attended the event.
LICC, a comprehensive international exchange and cooperation platform, will leverage the alliance to serve as a platform, a gateway, and a hub for enterprises going global. It aims to improve the service system for enterprises going global, connect upstream and downstream resources in the industrial chain, and assist enterprises in addressing issues encountered during their global expansion.
