The 32nd China International Gifts and Home Products Fair will take place this weekend at the Shenzhen International Convention & Exhibition Center, featuring more than 5,000 exhibitors from over 60 countries and 12,000 booths.

Happy Huts in parks

McDonald's has recently opened Happy Huts in Lianhua Hill Park, Shenzhen Bay Park, Minghu City Park, and Yangtai Mountain Forest Park. where parkgoers can buy coffee, other drinks, and ice creams. They can also order burgers, chicken nuggets and potato chips online to be picked up at the joints within the parks.


Violin sonata concert

French violinist Renaud Capuçon and pianist Guillaume Bellom will present an enchanting evening of violin sonatas by Beethoven, Brahms, and Richard Strauss at the Shenzhen Concert Hall.

‘The White-haired Girl’

On Saturday, the Shanghai Ballet will present the renowned Chinese original dance drama “The White-haired Girl” in Guangming. Celebrated for its captivating integration of Chinese ethnic styles, Western ballet, traditional Chinese opera, and martial arts, this sixty-year-old production is considered a masterpiece.

A cappella show

One of Europe's most dynamic a cappella groups, the Italian Alti & Bassi Vocal Ensemble will bring a memorable night of melodies featuring songs by Queen, Elvis Presley, Disney, and more in Pingshan.

AI media art

A total of nine Chinese artists, along with a research team from Tsinghua University, are showcasing their artificial intelligence (AI) media artworks at the 2024 Shenzhen AI Media Art Biennial.

Peace in Ou Ye’s illustrations

Discover inner peace through the works of illustrator Ou Ye at an exhibition that explores the varied emotional expressions experienced throughout the artist’s different life stages.
