Join us for a free hiking trip to Baguang Heritiera Wetland Park in Dapeng, which features ancient looking-glass mangrove trees, a breathtaking seashore, and a historic village!

Specifically designed for expats, the “Exploring Nature Beauty & Ancient Wonder in Baguang” event will feature a hiking and nature education. Mark your calendars for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Oct. 27.
There are 10 seats available for the event. First come, first served!
Visitors explore the wetland park.
During the event, local volunteers from the Baguang Nature School will provide in-depth explanations about various plant species and share insights into the park’s history, eco-education initiatives, and nature preservation efforts.
Shuttle transportation between downtown Shenzhen and Dapeng, as well as lunch, will be provided free of charge.

A looking-glass mangrove cluster, located in the wetland park and covering an area of about 20,000 square meters, is the oldest and most intact natural looking-glass tree cluster in the world. It boasts 33 registered ancient trees with an average age of over 200 years old, and the oldest tree is over 500 years old.

This event is jointly organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Science, Technology, and Innovation Bureau, EyeShenzhen, and supported by the Dapeng New District Urban Management and Law Enforcement Bureau, Dapeng New District Construction and Development Center of Key Areas, and Baguang Nature School.
