Festival brings melodic joy

The Third Nantou City Music Festival concluded yesterday in Nantou City, also known as Nantou Ancient Town, in Nanshan District. The 10-day event not only united over 40 artists and featured more than 20 spectacular performances, but also introduced the engaging “Music Life Vouchers,” sparking a wave of excitement among Shenzhen residents.

Throughout the festival, themed music sharing sessions and music film screenings were organized. Additionally, the event provided stages and spaces for ordinary citizens, including the Nantou Middle School Choir, student bands from Hong Kong Design Institute and Shenzhen University, construction site engineers, and community property security personnel, offering them a platform to showcase their musical talents.

The highlight performances of the festival occurred on Saturday and Sunday, featuring a diverse range of music genres from afternoon till night, including pop, jazz, blues, urban beats, and disco.
