In a move to elevate tourism experience, the Shenzhen Bay Park introduced a new sightseeing shuttle route on Oct. 25, offering citizens and tourists a new option to explore the city’s coastal gem.
Nestled along the picturesque Shenzhen Bay coastline, Shenzhen Bay Park encompasses the Mangrove Coastal Ecological Park and the Shenzhen Bay Coastal Leisure Belt. Spanning approximately 13 kilometers, the park features 14 themed parks and has long been a favorite destination for leisure and entertainment.

The new sightseeing route, which uses electric shuttles, operates between Exit C of Shenzhen Bay Park Metro Station and the iconic Universiade Torch Tower. Along the route, passengers can marvel at the distinct landscapes such as Haiyun Park and Egret Slope.
The fleet of environmentally friendly electric vehicles, painted in a refreshing blue-green color scheme, is adorned with illustrations representing the sea, migratory birds, and tropical plants.
The sightseeing shuttles run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. towards the Universiade Torch Tower and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. towards Exit C of Shenzhen Bay Park Metro Station, with departures every 10 to 15 minutes.
Tickets for the sightseeing route can be purchased online through the “深巴出行” WeChat miniprogram. Passengers can simply scan a verification code to board. The single ride ticket is priced at 10 yuan (US$1.4), while a daily ticket, which allows for multiple trips with no stop restrictions, is available for 18 yuan.
According to Shenzhen Bus Group, it plans to refine the sightseeing route based on the trial operation data and feedback from the public.
