Interaction between sheng and pipe organ
Chinese sheng virtuoso Wu Wei will collaborate with Japanese organist Megumi Hamaya for an evocative evening featuring works primarily by foreign composers, including Bach and Debussy. A highlight of the concert will be Megumi’s adaptation of "Jasmine flower," a beloved Chinese folk song.

Children’s choir from France
Maîtrise Saint-Marc, the renowned children’s choir featured in the film "Les Choristes," will perform in Shenzhen, bringing a selection of songs from the movie, which was released 20 years ago.

The much-anticipated Hong Kong Film Show in Guangdong is back with a bang in the Broadway Cinematheque at MixC World and the Palace Theater at Raffles City through Nov. 12.

‘20000 Leagues Under the Sea’
An immersive play adapted from Jules Verne’s classic "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" will be staged at the Poly Theater. In addition to presenting the plots from the novel, the play aims to incorporate oceanic knowledge, making it a delightful experience for children as well.

‘Starry Night’ series
Piano legend Martha Argerich, violinist Gil Shaham, cellist Edgar Moreau, and other esteemed musicians will present an evening of Western classics by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, and more on Nov. 2. The Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra will also join these artists for a concert Nov. 1.

Interwoven artistry in Chinese poetry and paintings
Enthusiasts of poetry and paintings can immerse themselves in the “Poetry in Chinese Mountains-and-Waters Paintings” exhibition at the Guan Shanyue Museum. Here, visitors can admire paintings created by masters spanning from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) to modern times.

Wumen masterpieces from Ming Dynasty
This exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to appreciate prestigious works by Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) masters from Wumen (modern Suzhou) in Jiangsu. Featuring 64 paintings and calligraphic works and 20 study items, “The Memories of Jiangnan — The Calligraphy, Paintings and the Refined Materials of the Wumen Literati in the Ming Dynasty” is organized by the He Xiangning Art Museum.
