The newly unveiled football training center encompasses an 11-a-side football pitch, an 8-a-side pitch, and supporting facilities such as changing rooms, offices, meeting rooms, and strength training rooms.
The strategic alliance between Nanshan and Eintracht Frankfurt was formalized in 2021. The football club introduced its training methodology to Nanshan and established a youth training center at Nanshan Foreign Language School.
With the expertise of three foreign coaches, the center delivers advanced youth training to the elite football teams in the district. Additionally, the club conducts four coaching workshops annually to elevate the skills of local football coaches.
In January this year, the elite high school team from the youth training center traveled to Frankfurt for training and competition, which reinforced cultural and sports ties between the youth of both cities.
This June, Nanshan Party chief Huang Xiangyue led a delegation to visit Eintracht Frankfurt and held a Nanshan-Frankfurt cooperation and exchange conference at the club. The two cities expanded cooperation beyond sports in a bid to promote comprehensive exchanges in the fields of economy, culture, and technology.
