Accenture expands office footprint in GZ, enhances strategic presence in GBA

Global professional services company Accenture recently announced the expansion of its office space in Guangzhou, a strategic move designed to bolster its delivery of scalable technology innovation services to clients and capitalize on the growth potential within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

With this development, Accenture will enhance its service offerings in Guangzhou and across the GBA, concentrating on industry-specific solutions, enterprise architecture, technology deployment, product testing and deployment, system operations and maintenance, and a suite of comprehensive services. 

Yu Yi, senior managing director and technology lead at Accenture Greater China, stated, “The enlargement of our office presence in Guangzhou underscores our commitment to strengthening customer service, entrenching ourselves in the local market, and building a robust ecosystem. We are also dedicated to furthering our strategic engagement in the GBA.”

According to Accenture, it plans to actively deploy cutting-edge technologies including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), and mixed reality to refine service agility, optimize the customer experience, and drive transformative business initiatives and market expansion across sectors such as transportation and logistics, finance, and insurance.

“We are eager to further tap into the rich technological, talent, and business resources of the Greater Bay Area, strengthen teamwork, and be both a witness and participant in the GBA’s development,” said Susanna Li, managing director of the Hong Kong office at Accenture Greater China.

Accenture established its Guangzhou office in 2004. In Hong Kong, Accenture concentrates on the finance, tourism and logistics, and retail sectors, offering innovative solutions to Chinese and global enterprises.

In Shenzhen, Accenture has established a global innovation research and development center and recently introduced a generative artificial intelligence studio to accelerate the adoption of AI by enterprises.
