'Boonie Bears' themed mall opens

China's first “Boonie Bears” themed shopping center, Bao’an Huaqiang Plaza, has grandly opened in Bao’an District. The mall, meticulously crafted by the Shenzhen-based Huaqiang Holdings Co., Ltd., showcases the classic characters from the “Boonie Bears” animated series, welcoming Shenzhen residents.

The shopping center spans an impressive commercial volume of 100,000 square meters, encompassing one underground level and six above-ground levels. The project features a unique layout with two first floors and a cross-level staircase at the main entrance, providing direct access to the fourth-floor sky garden. This space not only enables visitors to interact with installations of cartoon characters but also offers a secluded garden for people to enjoy outdoor lifestyle trends and relaxed social engagements around the clock.

Within the mall, visitors can explore various setups and encounter beloved characters from “Boonie Bears,” such as Briar, Bramble, Logger Vick, and more. Additionally, the mall houses attractions like the indoor “Bear Park” playground, a bear-themed cafeteria, “Logger Vicky’s Research Institute” for plant cultivation, and a selection of trendy stores popular among the younger crowd.
