A total of 330 renowned enterprises from Bao’an District are attending the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), which opened in Shanghai on Nov. 5, Bao’an Daily reported.

The firms include the prominent battery maker Sunwoda, the electronic components manufacturer Luxshare Precision, and the printed circuit boards manufacturer Avary Holding.

These firms seek to purchase products and services in various fields, including food, vehicles, technical equipment, medical devices, innovation incubation, and service trade.

At last year’s CIIE, the value of intended deals by the Bao’an delegation exceeded US$1 billion.

For many firms based in Bao’an District, CIIE is not only a purchase platform but also a key event to learn about the latest industrial development trends and seek cooperation opportunities.

Chen Zhiqin, general manager of Hashimoto Precision Metal (Shenzhen) Ltd. specializing in precision stamping parts, said that the CIIE gathers many quality exhibitors and cutting-edge technologies, which offers a valuable learning and exchange opportunity for manufacturing companies.

“We can get the latest market information and trends of technologies, which are of great importance to the future development of enterprises,” said Chen.

This year's CIIE will conclude on Nov. 10.
