Twenty-one enterprises and scientific research institutes from Dapeng New Area participated in the 26th China Hi-Tech Fair at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in Bao’an District between Nov. 14 and 16, showcasing more than 50 cutting-edge high-tech achievements and products.
The Dapeng pavilion was divided into five sections — marine industry and low-altitude economy, healthcare, biological medicine, clean energy, and tourism.
“One of the highlights is the area dedicated to the low-altitude economy,” said Gu Xiting, an official from the Dapeng New Area Technology, Industry, and Information Bureau.
Pengyou (Shenzhen) Aviation Technology Co. Ltd., a new company established in Dapeng this year, showcased its cutting-edge UAV control systems. Shenzhen Flamingo Aviation Technology Co. Ltd. presented its industrial-use drone, and Liangma (Shenzhen) Aviation Technology Co. Ltd. introduced products that use UAVs for short-distance logistical support.
“Dapeng not only boasts rich tourism resources, but also focuses on industrial development. Therefore, we hope that more entrepreneurs will come to Dapeng and make investments,” Gu said.
Shenzhen Flamingo Aviation Technology Co. Ltd. is a company dedicated to researching, producing, and selling UAVs for industrial use. Its products cover a wide range of application scenarios, including emergency rescue, territorial mapping, and pipeline inspection.
According to Alec Wang, chairman of Flamingo Aviation, the company has a great amount of technological expertise, having received more than 20 technical patents. “One of the highlights of our company is that we produce aviation-grade carbon fiber composites. We have our own factory to manufacture the materials and assemble UAVs,” said Wang.
The company was established in Dapeng in 2023. “Dapeng offers rich application scenarios, providing a favorable environment for UAV companies,” Wang added.
