Bao'an set to welcome city's third Apple Store

Apple is set to open a new store in the Shenzhen Uniwalk Qianhai shopping mall in Bao'an District next year, according to a Nanfang Plus report.

Expected to open next August, it will be the third Apple Store in Shenzhen and the fifth in Guangdong Province.

Since opening its first Shenzhen store at Holiday Plaza in Nanshan District in 2012, Apple has welcomed 22 million visitors in the city. 

The Apple MixC Shenzhen in Luohu District, which opened in 2023, has over 150 highly trained retail team members who collectively speak 10 languages.

So far, there are 47 Apple Stores on the Chinese mainland, the second most in the world after the U.S. The first Apple store opened in 2008 in Beijing.
