Autumn market
The Autumn Market at OCT Park welcomes visitors with an array of delectable treats and engaging activities under the theme of “Fresh Food for Cooking.” Running every weekend until Dec. 1, the market showcases over 30 vendors offering not only a variety of culinary delights but also flowers, pets, spices, stress-relief toys, and lifestyle products.

Contemporary art
The “Recreating Spiritual Realm — Contemparary Art Exhibition” invites six contemporary artists — Chen Baoyang, Deng Yuejun, Gao Shiqiang, Li Shun, Wang Zhigang, and Zheng Da, to creatively transform and interpret traditional culture elements with the help of technology to endow art with new possibilities.

Beauty of old beds
This exhibition at the Ancient Art Division of the Shenzhen Museum showcases over 100 beds, porcelain pillows, and bed decorations dating from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) to the first half of the 20th century. The elaborate decorations, dazzling carvings, and unique mortise-and-tenon wooden structures featured on these beds offer a glimpse into the rich tapestry of traditional Chinese culture.

Creative percussion show
Toolbox Percussion from Hong Kong will present a creative performance inspired by the works of Kafka. This percussion group is renowned for its innovative fusion of traditional instruments and everyday materials, incorporating multimedia elements into their shows.

Huangmei opera
Led by Huangmei opera star Wu Qiong, the Ma’anshan Four Seasons Opera Theater from Anhui Province will perform “Tian Xian Pei.” Based on a Chinese legend, the story evolves around an escapade of Jade Emperor’s youngest daughter who, during a journey to the mortal world, falls in love with a farm hand and marries him. The couple is in the end separated by Jade Emperor who wouldn’t allow his daughter to marry a mortal.

Yoga element performance
The special yoga stage show “Ashtanga” combines yoga movements with dance, accompanied by singing bowls, flute, and drums, to create a journey of peace and meditation for the audience.

Violin concert
Known as one of the ten most representative violinists in China, Liu Xiao will give a concert featuring classical masterpieces by Saint-Saëns, Dvořák, Paganini, and others.

SZ’s 44-year journey unfolds in exhibition
To mark the 44th anniversary of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, this new exhibition delves into significant events that have taken place in Shenzhen since the reform and opening up. Through 123 paintings, photos, videos, sculptures, and personal memorabilia, the exhibition brings to life the transformations in people’s lives and the cityscape over the years.

Fashion Source
