Embracing Shenzhen: More than just a city

When I first moved to Shenzhen from Ukraine, it was for a job as a choreographer at Shenzhen Happy Valley, a lively theme park.
But what started as a professional opportunity soon grew into something much deeper. Over more than a decade, Shenzhen has become my second home — a place where I have grown personally and professionally alongside the city’s vibrant energy and ever-changing pulse.
After my contract at Happy Valley ended, I made the decision to stay. This city, my first destination in China, captured me with its open and dynamic spirit. I immersed myself in local culture and began pursuing new entrepreneurial paths, finding myself increasingly connected to the community here.
