TEDxShenzhen 2024 to unveil 'Brave New World'

The stage is set for the much-anticipated TEDxShenzhen 2024 annual conference, scheduled for Dec. 8 with the theme of “Brave New World.”

Over 10 trailblazers hailing from diverse domains such as technology, arts, and humanities will grace the event, each allocated 18 minutes to convey their groundbreaking explorations and profound insights. The event promises immersive talks and interactive experiences, fostering discussions among attendees to delve into the realms of the envisioned “Brave New World.”

Renowned speakers are poised to challenge conventional wisdom, pushing boundaries beyond perceived limitations. Beyond illuminating discourse, participants can engage in candid dialogues during meal breaks and networking sessions, forging connections with like-minded TEDxers for a day of stimulating exchanges.

Attendees can look forward to a sensory feast delivered by a host of talented performing artists, promising an enriching audio-visual experience. The conference will culminate in the much-anticipated Ideas Party, offering an opportunity for direct interactions with speakers and distinguished guests, facilitating open discussions and the exchange of perspectives to spark new insights and unforeseen discoveries.

Noteworthy speakers in attendance include Su Min, a renowned online influencer known for an extensive road trip across China, accumulating a substantial following and inspiring a feature film; Ding Ning, who holds esteemed positions in the realms of artificial intelligence and robotics research; and Jiang Shujie, the groundbreaking founder of Buy42 charity shops dedicated to sustainable philanthropy and community integration.

Other speakers include clinical psychologist Dr. Xu Kaiwen, physicist and author Zhou Yaoqi, organic farming promoter Li Mingpan, animal behavior expert Li Zhongqiu, education advocate for critical thinking Lan Fang, philosopher Zheng Yujian, electronic musician Wu Zhuoling, Chen Yiwei, who popularizes knowledge on genetics and rare diseases, and Swamp Band, a unique fusion of Chinese musical instrument guqin and rock music.
