

SZ firms shine at supply chain expo

A total of 24 Shenzhen enterprises are showcasing their latest technologies and products at the first China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), which kicked off Tuesday at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing.
The five-day expo, themed “Connecting the World for a Shared Future,” covers an exhibition area of 120,000 square meters. Some 600 exhibitors from home and abroad are participating in the expo, which has sections dedicated to advanced manufacturing, green energy, intelligent vehicles, digital technology, health chains, and supply chain services.

Shenzhen enterprises at the expo, occupying 2,400 square meters, are highlighting the city’s advancements in industry and supply chain development, according to sources from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Shenzhen Municipal Committee (CCPIT-Shenzhen).
The participating companies include leading firms in new-generation information technology, new energy vehicles, biomedicine, and medical devices, including BYD, BGI, Shenzhen Metro Group, Winner, ZTE, and Han’s Laser.
In the intelligent vehicle chain section, Shenzhen-headquartered BYD showcases its operations in electronics, vehicles, new energy and rail transit. The company presents its comprehensive new energy solutions from energy acquisition and storage to applications for zero carbon emission.
SF Group, a global leader in logistics services, has a booth in the supply chain services section. It is displaying end-to-end solutions for sectors such as auto making, high-tech products, fast-moving consumer goods, and medicine.
“We have found a significant number of potential customers from abroad,” said Xu Zhiwei, a representative at SF Technology North China Division. “They are discovering new services we can offer in the supply chain. This expo allows them to learn about what Chinese companies can provide, and we hope to be able to truly serve the global market,” Xu added.
Winner and PurCotton showcased the cooperation, innovation, and development of the cotton industrial chain in green materials, production, and lifestyle. Li Jianquan, president of Winner Group, said, “We will collaborate with the leading cotton supplier — China National Cotton Group — to further enhance and promote the cotton industry in China. We are striving to promote sustainability in every process of the supply chain.”
In addition, an international exchange meeting focused on Shenzhen’s new energy vehicle industry was held in Beijing on Wednesday as a sideline event of the supply chain expo. Over 100 representatives from enterprises, research institutes, and business associations from home and abroad participated in the event to discuss the latest trends in new energy and intelligent connected vehicles.
