

IFA 2025 announces dates and focuses on China partnership

The Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA), the world's leading trade fair for consumer electronics and home appliances, announced its 2025 dates at a media briefing Friday. The event will be held Sept. 7-9 at its traditional venue, the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.

IFA also opened applications for exhibitors. This year, the 100th anniversary of the event, saw successful collaborations with Chinese partners and exhibitors like Hisense, Honor and TCL.

Lindner stressed IFA's role for Asian markets: "IFA offers Asian companies a unique opportunity to be at the heart of the European consumer electronics and home appliance market. Together, we can unlock creative and forward-looking potential in AI and sustainability."
Looking ahead, Lindner said IFA 2025 expects increased participation from new industries and a strong presence from established and new Chinese exhibitors.
