China's first ESG-themed Entrepreneurship Island for Returned International Talent was launched at the MJH Chuangzhi Center in Songgang Subdistrict on Nov. 30, Bao’an Daily reported.
ESG stands for Environment, Social, and Governance.
Located on the 27th floor of the center, the entrepreneurship island comprises six functional zones and offers 50 free workstations. Its public service area spans over 2,000 square meters.
The entrepreneurship island is committed to green office practices and sustainability, with all office facilities constructed from renewable materials to minimize environmental impact at the source.
It also offers a comprehensive range of services to international talent, including free office space, job services, business registration assistance, and entrepreneurial support.
To date, the entrepreneurship island has attracted eight entrepreneurial teams from sectors such as intelligent manufacturing, electronic information, and new materials.
Looking ahead, the entrepreneurship island aims to enhance collaboration with top-tier universities and research institutions, both domestically and internationally. Moreover, it plans to organize seminars and networking events to better cater to the needs of talented individuals.
