Dapeng residents to reach Longgang, Pingshan within 30min

Residents in Dapeng will soon be able to travel to Longgang and Pingshan districts within half an hour once the Dapeng branch of the Shenzhen-Huizhou Railway becomes operational, Nanfang Daily reported.

Significant progress has been made on the construction of the Dapeng branch of the Shenzhen-Huizhou Railway, with the completion of the right-side boring tunnel.

The Dapeng branch of the railway, spanning 39.4 kilometers, will connect Longcheng Station in Longgang District to Xinda Station in Dapeng New District. It will also include stops at Pingshan, Yanzi Lake, Kuichong, and Dapeng stations, with trains operating at a top speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
