SWUPL research institute inaugurated in Nanshan

The Southwest University of Political Science & Law (SWUPL) has recently unveiled its Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Research Institute in Nanshan District.
The event was attended by Fan Wei, Party chief of SWUPL, Lin Wei, president of SWUPL, Jiang Xiaowen, director-general of the Shenzhen Municipal Justice Bureau, and Li Xiaoning, district mayor of Nanshan District Government.

The unveiling was part of a broader initiative, as SWUPL, the Shenzhen Municipal Justice Bureau, and the Nanshan District Government jointly signed a framework agreement aimed at promoting the establishment of a foreign-related legal system.
This partnership is poised to enhance research and innovation in foreign-related rule of law, improve the foreign-related legal service system, and provide comprehensive legal services to support the international endeavors of local businesses.

The GBA Research Institute of SWUPL is designed to be a think tank that leverages the university’s academic strengths in law to serve the strategic needs of Nanshan and the GBA.
