Bao'an District signed agreements for 41 projects with a total planned investment exceeding 10 billion yuan (US$1.37 billion) during the 2024 Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion Conference, which was held on Dec. 6 in Shenzhen.
Bao'an District once again secured the title for the best investment promotion projects, according to Bao’an Daily.
During the conference, the district signed agreements with companies such as Luxshare Precision, French automotive supplier Valeo, and German rail vehicle solution provider Knorr-Bremse.
The conference attracted over 700 companies and institutions, including more than 200 Fortune Global 500 companies and multinational corporations from 33 countries and regions across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
Bao'an District has gone to great lengths to attract investment over the years.
In August this year, Bao'an promoted 20 plots of land covering an area of over 255 hectares, equivalent to approximately 357 standard football pitches, for industrial use.
Since the beginning of this year, the district has organized numerous delegations to visit foreign countries to attract investment. Additionally, it has conducted nine investment promotional activities in countries such as Singapore, Japan, Italy, and South Africa.
In return, Bao'an has welcomed nearly 20 delegations from Germany, Portugal, Singapore, and the United States, representing fields such as manufacturing, finance, and high-tech.
Bao'an is now stepping up efforts to establish itself as a hub for world-class advanced manufacturing, improve the business environment, and provide support for talent.
