Shenzhen’s border checkpoints feature comprehensive facilities and handle high volumes of passenger and cargo traffic. The bilingual "iPort" (i口岸) WeChat miniprogram enables passengers to access a variety of services in transportation, tax refunds, shopping, visa, currency exchange, and more, making travel more convenient. Below is a guide to using the WeChat miniprogram.

English-language page
Port Wi-Fi: Users can find a list of Wi-Fi names available at various checkpoints to enjoy free Wi-Fi services.
Shenzhen Tourism Guide: This feature directs users to a comprehensive tourism guide produced by Shenzhen’s tourism authority. In the subpages, users can access information on visa policies, payment guides, tax refund procedures, phone card guides, a map of hotels in Shenzhen, food and shopping guides, tourist attractions, and more.
Departure Tax Refund: Travelers can learn how and where to reclaim tax on purchases when leaving Shenzhen.
Visa: This section directs users to the National Immigration Administration’s bilingual service platform, where foreign visitors can access information about residence permits, stay permits, travel permits, exit-entry permits, and visas.
Real-time Passenger Flows at the Port: This section provides real-time information on whether entering or exiting a checkpoint is fast or slow, helping passengers select the most suitable option. Service times for each checkpoint are also displayed.

Users can find additional services available on the Chinese-language page of the “iPort” WeChat miniprogram.
“口岸汇率” (Port exchange rates): This page displays real-time exchange rates (HKD or USD to CNY) at various currency exchange locations at some checkpoints. By clicking on the buying or selling rates, users can access an exchange rate trend chart.
“货币兑换点” (Currency exchange locations): This page provides a complete list of currency exchange stores at select checkpoints, specifying the available currencies, operating hours, and addresses.
“口岸免税店” (Duty-free shops): This page lists duty-free shops at various checkpoints, detailing available product categories, such as electronics, liquor, cosmetics, food, and perfumes.
“口岸接驳车” (Shuttle buses): This page offers information on shuttle buses to shopping destinations in Shenzhen from several checkpoints, including bus service times and intervals. Some buses also stop at Shenzhen Metro stations.
“深圳乘车码” (Shenzhen transit code): This directs users to the “乘车码” WeChat miniprogram, enabling passengers to pay bus and Metro fares in Shenzhen by scanning a QR code with WeChat Pay. Meanwhile, the “香港乘车码” button provides similar services for passengers in Hong Kong.
At the bottom menu, users can find more services. For example, by clicking “乘车”, users can access cross-border bus services, high-speed train ticket services, and cross-border ferry services. Additional services include wheelchair bookings, lost and found, public transport guides around checkpoints, parking bookings, and customs luggage inspection information.
