The Huangmaohai Sea-crossing Passage, linking the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge to Taishan in Jiangmen city, will commence operations at 3 p.m. today, becoming the third important cross-sea channel in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). Spanning 31 kilometers, the passage will reduce the travel time from Zhuhai to Jiangmen to approximately 30 minutes. A pivotal component of the project, the Huangmaohai Bridge stands as the world’s largest three-tower cable-stayed bridge, measuring 2,200 meters in length.
