The report, based on an in-depth review of the Triple Helix framework, proposes a pathway for collaborative innovation in education ecosystems, integrating government, industries and academia, aiming to shed light on how the three sectors can work together to enhance coordinated development in education ecosystems.
By comparing examples of education innovation in China’s different regions and examining the ecosystems for education innovation and social innovation in the GBA, Professor Ha introduced to faculty members and students of the school’s Global, International, and Comparative Education program and Education, Policy, and Analysis program the GBA’s achievements in education innovation, along with its experiences and challenges in building a three-sector-integrated ecosystem.
The keynote report of the 2023 Yidan Education Forum is based on research findings of a team led by Professor Ha, with members from the Peking University Institute of Economics of Education, the Peking University Graduate School of Education, the Chen Yidan Foundation, and the Yidan Education Research Institute.
The presentation was one of several lectures Professor Ha gave during his visit to Harvard University between November 9 and November 22. At the invitation of the Harvard Chinese Students and Scholars Association, he also had a discussion with Chinese students and visiting scholars at the university about the report.
Since its release in April 2023, the report has been presented at conferences, forums, and seminars worldwide.
