City Games ignites SZ

The 11th Shenzhen City Games 2024 Closing Ceremony was held at the Shenzhen University Town Sports Center yesterday. The closing ceremony, themed “Running Shenzhen,” featured the opening show “Run! Shenzhen,” the performance "The Winds of the Greater Bay Area Fly," and other song and dance performances.

Since 1981, the Shenzhen City Games have been held every four years. As of this year, the Shenzhen City Games have a history of 43 years.

This year's games, held from April to October, encompassed a total of 59 events, including 37 in youth categories and 22 in adult categories. The event attracted competitors aged 8 to 65 from all over the city.
